We have an 8 month old male Jack Russell Terrier makes me mad. But it is the baby of my husband, if you can not get rid of him (although I love you). My husband is in the Air Force to work around 8-14 hours and days and have a child of 3 years and I am 9 months pregnant, my husband and I are too busy to try to train damn dog. (Do not ask what the point of having a dog if you can not put time or effort in taking care of him … I ask my husband because I do not understand) The only place that trains dogs around here, unless want to drive 2 hours away, is PetSmart and Petco. . . Does anyone know how much they charge for dog training? Or any other advice on how to keep a little too excited Fookes urinate in the same damn spot every night? Or maybe how to stop acting like a wild beast? I understand that it is a dog, but the thing is out of the house (husband thinks we should treat it as a “part of the family” … Bleh!) And is insane! HELP response to the “dove” – I feel the same about precisely the type of dog you have before you find one, and so on, but my husband had his heart set on a JRT (for reasons unknown ) and I know and am also upset that no random search JRTs before taking his house from scratch. I would tell my husband that the dog is better elsewhere, but he is very stubborn and attatched to the dog. . . try to tell him to get rid of him. . .
